Multiple Risk Behaviours Symposium

DECIPHer Symposium - Multiple Risk Behaviours in Adolescence: causes, consequences, prevention and interventions

Victoria Rooms, University of Bristol

On the 9th September 2011 DECIPHer held a symposium on Multiple Risk Behaviours in Adolescence, which covered the areas of causes, consequences, prevention, interventions and policy approaches. We were delighted to have experts from the US, Australia, Italy and across the UK who provided a stimulating range of perspectives and over 100 delegates at the Symposium.

We were grateful for funding for the Symposium from the Medical Research Council, the University of Bristol's Institute of Advanced Studies and the University of Bristol's Alumni Foundation.

The Journal of Public Health has published a supplement with articles from the Symposium. Some of the speaker's presentations are available to be downloaded below.

The Symposium forms part of a DECIPHer programme of work on multiple risk behaviours in adolescence which is led by Professor Rona Campbell at the University of Bristol. For further information please contact: ruth.kipping@bristol.ac.uk.
